To load up the drivers from the Leopard disk simply run the bootcamp installer, wait for it to fail, then Windows should pop up offering to run the installer in "Compatibility Mode" CLICK and watch it install.

OR

Navigate to Start/Computer and then right click on the Leopard disc and select "Open" in the drop down menu to gain access to the individual driver installers

can't wait till the official is released
  • @TechVidGuy
@Toady373 Once Windows is installed correctly you can press and hold the "Option" key during the boot process and you'll get the opportunity to select your boot volume (OSX / Windows, or Linux)

    @4MacSake Oh, alright. Thank you

hey for some reason how come whenever i install the drivers after installing windows 7, it always gives me an error and restarts by itself? i tried installing the drivers manually one by one and that kinda helped, but i still can't get the keyboard to work so none of the volume toggles or brightness buttons work can someone help me?
  • @TechVidGuy
@azamatms lol It's actually the cooling fans of the Mac Pro whirling away.
  • @TechVidGuy
@azamatms Modding is always fun. I've seen that transplant done before, if you put in the time it should turn out pretty sweet. I still play around with my old beige G3 desktop, overclocked it to 300mhz from the original 233, upgraded the ram, dropped in a second 12 year old IDE HDD leftover from a dead Gateway 2k and used XpostFacto to get 10.3.9 running on it, good times!
  • @Toady373
@4macsake do you just start your Mac up and you choose what OS you want?
  • @pcuser152
Yo does anyone know what the prices of windows 7 will be once it comes out on disc? Please say which currency e.g $5 USA
  • @daleksvscybermen
if you do this, will you be able to access your os x user accounts in windows?
  • @NIDEEPOFFICIAL
what happens if you get a big virus on the windows side would it affect the mac side???
  • @colombiareclama
How do you do it??? I have a Mac Pro 1.1. and itsnot capable of installing a 64 bit OS. I install Windows 7 32 bit.
  • @TechVidGuy
@JargonWithCheeze No, the camera I used is amplifying the sound. Like I said, the Mac Pro runs dead silent normally. But I choose to run the fans at a higher RPM because it gets very hot in my office during the summer.
  • @TechVidGuy
@azamatms It actually cools quite well, although I do run my fans at a higher RPM to mitigate fluctuation in room temperature. The crappy mic on the camera I used to record the video makes it sound much worse than it is, everyone who has owned one knows these machines run almost dead silent in a stock config.

@Ov3rK1LL3000 Apple doesnt want to because.. If they did that then no one would buy macs and also they dont want to have to deal with getting driver problems sorted out with the manufacture
