The main reason the UDR doesn't torque twist is because it uses the planetary reduction in the rear axle. This means that there's less torque being applied at the rear drive shaft which is what actually creates the torque twist. That's why it's set up like that

Never had either but the UDR has held a special place in my heart for years and it still will. I need one one day
-
Great comparison👍 Glad you are showing these and comparing them how they were intended to be used as well.

The UDR is so sweet. That suspension travel and movement is unrivaled. The only thing I know that takes away from it is the way the battery plugs in. I wouldn’t jump either truck (I have bashers for that) so I think the UDR is the clear surface vehicle winner

Great comparison review. I always enjoy your reviews. Especially how in-depth you go into the good, bad, and ugly. Since Amain carries all the brands, you don't have to be swayed by brand loyalty.

Nothing beats 15 UDRs with the boys on my cousin's ranch that has a 1/5 scale offroad track. Racing and rubbing chaos! So much fun! If you ever come to Livermore on the East Bay Brent you need to bring a few buds and some UDRs. It's a huge track much bigger, wider, and longer than a 1/8 scale offroad track. We usually race Losi DBXLs on it or Losi 5T and 30-degree Norths SCTs. We are in the process of building a Monster Jam course for the Raminators using Powerwheels to run and jump over. lol.

Both trucks look great. UDR gets my vote. Like button energized.

GREAT COMPARISON VIDEO 👌💯

Picking the UDR up today to add to the collection.... will be joing my XRT and XMAXX
-
I have the first gen udr and love it. I did upgrade to stiffer shock springs and heavier shock oil for jumping it as I like to drive it on my dirtbike track in my yard.
-
Thanks great video man!
-
Nice video! I am luck enough to own both because they are sweet!!! I would say your points on each vehicle are spot on.
-
Now do a video including the Super Baja Rey. This was fantastic fun.
-
Great comparison!

I have that big 6th scale Losi SBR v2.0, and the UDR, I honestly love them both - really love them, they just do things slightly differently, the BR2 never appealed to me tbh, I adore how both the Losi and UDR handle, really feel fun.
-
Both are truly excellent trucks for sure. The points in this video are on point and mainly very accurate. Good comparison👍💯

My pops and I have both. BOTH are extremely fun and honestly just pick one and you will not be disappointed.
