  • Thanks for all the videos on the Aventon bikes, you helped me make up my mind to buy one. Ordered the Adventure 2 today.
  • Great review! Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together. I feel like all of the reviews are someone on the beach in California. Where I live, snow is something we deal with every year. Thanks again for showing a snow ride.

This is the first bike I’ve bought in 30 years… maybe longer… I haven’t been happier. I love riding now.
  • @PhilipChou
Looking forward to seeing your future videos on this bike.
  • I've neen having a hard time selecting a bike, this great video just simplified things a lot!! Thank you so much! Ride safe✌️

Just purchased this bike! Waiting for it to ship and watched about 10 reviews all with good to glowing reviews. Super excited!!
  • Loved the video as well as your previous reviews. I was just about to pull the trigger and buy a Velotric Nomad 1. Thankfully, I procrastinated a week or 2 just in time to take advantage of this new launch from Aventon. Just ordered it yesterday and can’t wait to get it in my hands and start enjoying the hell out of it.

Thank you Scott for another helpful and informative video about the Aventure. When better riding weather gets closer, I'll definitely be ordering a V2 to replace my first generation Aventure, which, like you, I almost want to hug because it's been such a pleasurable addition to my life. I like everything about it but sometimes feel like I'm not getting quite enough exercise from it even though I routinely take several 20+ mile rides per week. I put that down to the cadence sensor even though I always pedal and adjust the gearing for a good cycling cadence, and I'm rarely riding above PAS 3 mode. I look forward to the more natural cycling experience that I think the torque sensor will provide. There are two things about my bike that I sometimes wish I'd done differently: gotten the next smaller frame size, and opted for step-through rather than step-over. I'm 5'10" and have the medium step-over now. I added a suspension seat post and so the seat is adjusted as far down as it can be but one more inch lower would sometimes be welcome. I also removed a rear rack bag I had and replaced it with panniers partly because the additional height of the rack bag made it that much harder to swing my old leg over to mount and dismount the bike. So I'll definitely get the regular frame size rather than the large next time around. But I'm torn between getting another step-over frame or instead going for the step-through. I'm at about the recommended weight limit of the bike and have thought, possibly mistakenly, that the SO frame was stronger and more rigid than the ST. I prefer the look of the SO to the ST frame. And I'm not even sure I'd change my mounting method with a ST frame anyway. Plus, I'd miss my spiffy little top tube bag. But my sore old bones and muscles are asking me to consider the ST frame. I'm wondering if you gave any similar consideration to getting a step-through frame and why you opted for another step-over.
  • Great review, Scott! Your videos were a huge help in moving me to purchase the Aventure 1 just after the new year. I enjoyed every minute on the bike, but totally lucked out as the Aventure 2 was announced just a couple weeks before my bike shop's 30 day return policy was out. Thankfully, I never wiped out on the snow here in Minneapolis and the bike was still in new condition. Erik's Bike Shop (great shop up here that sells Aventon) was glad to get me on the new one and I just paid the difference. Man, you can't overstate the difference riding these two. Both are amazing, but you put it well when you say you feel one with the bike. I love being more in control of the bike, and since I do a lot of snow riding and trail riding, I love not having to constantly gauge what pedal assist level is safest. It rides like a dream, and I still don't believe how Aventon does all this for the price point. Keep creating! Looking forward to seeing more of your Aventure 2 adventures!

Phenomenal video… I ordered mine last week, I can’t wait to get it. Safe rides, and thanks for the video.
  • @kamalkanturs
Got mine Aventure 2, absolutely loving it! Thanks to your review helped me select the right size for me. I'm 5"11' got the regular size to accommodate suspension seat post. Had to let go my Nomad1, liked mine Nomad1 too but the torqure sensor on Aventure 2 is the game changer, feels so much more engaged and controlled at all riding speeds

Hey Scott. Well I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the Aventure 2 step through in Colbalt Blue. I almost did the step over but my career injuries reminded me not to. I’m pretty excited about it and should arrive in a couple of days. I really enjoyed your videos and honesty. You tested the bike as I would. Thanks again Scott. G. Mann from Alberta
  • @biggestelvis
Awesome! Your previous videos sold me on the Aventure, but I never pulled the trigger hoping they would someday add a torque sensor. I was totally waiting to hear your thoughts on the Aventure 2, and it sounds like a winner!
  • @newt2010
I just bought the blue step through and I pick it up tomorrow. I can’t wait to get it going. Thank you for the video.
