  • I didn’t realize my husband was also listening while I watched you…the other day he came up to me at work and said “one of my patients was talking about learning to can and I told her she needed to watch RoseRed Homestead because she’s the best”. I thought you should know that even in a busy medical practice you are loved!!!❤

I love to see someone else talk with their hands! My husband says if you tie my hands behind my back I won’t be able to speak!!

When my mom died, I wanted the ancestral Junk drawer. When she remodeled her house, she took the junk drawer from the old kitchen, and moved it into one of the new cabinets. Just took that drawer and put it in a shelf. When I got it, I did the same thing. It wasn't organized, but it had so much important useful stuff in it!

I grew up in a house without a functioning kitchen. We ate out or used the microwave. I was looking at the garlic and ginger thinking…”I hope she shows me how to peel and cut that! I love fresh ginger!”

I love it when you laugh during your videos, gives me a huge smile.
  • I grew up in a very loving family of 13. Organization was part of survival. It also contributed to harmony in the home. I sit here as a widow and retired banker at age 73 watching you with my day planner and notebook close by on my coffee table. Some habits die hard. 😉Very much enjoyed this video. 👍🏼
  • I so wish this and finances were a part of school curriculums. I had to learn this as an adult. Thank you for doing this .Your videos are so good.

I love the happy music at the beginning!!!!!😊 I’ll have to watch later because I’m at work and only on a 10 min break 😁

THANK YOU for being wise enough to NOT show us you cutting your vegetables!!!! I HATE channels that show cutting, unless they are professionals who do it super fast and accurate. You just earned a subscriber!!!!
  • About five decades ago, my dad taught me a fairly simple way to steer a backing trailer the way you want it to go. Instead of placing your hands at 10 and 2 on the steering wheel, use your dominant driving hand to grab the center BOTTOM of the steering wheel. Now, to make the trailer go to the right while backing, move your driving hand to the right. Same goes for moving it to the left. Putting your hand at the bottom of the steering wheel automatically reverses the resulting direction of the trailer, so it goes the way you want it to without thinking about it. Your mutual enjoyment of doing things together is engaging, so fun to watch! Thank you. (PS to Pam, I also have about 75,000 emails built up…)

Rose , that black jumper looks so nice on you , maybe the aqua jewellery sets the black off .

😂 Old RV fulltimers here, your chat about trailer backing had me in tears!! If you stay married after backing a dozen times you will never divorce! Watching others backing up into a site is great comic relief! You two are SO adorable..love the duo videos!
  • I love RoseRed Homestead. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video. God bless

One thing I learned over the years of cooking is get all ingredients before beginning to cook instead of looking for things as you cook…it is imperative to a successful meal. Now I have to apply that to everything else I do …thank you for this video.

Good timing. And like you both I planned to move. My whole house was packed except the essential things I needed until my home sold. With prayer I found that right now I am to stay where I am. So I won't get overwhelm with things lying everywhere, every week day I open two packed boxes. And on the Saturdays' I open four pack boxes. I put everything away that I love and need and the rest goes to charity.

When you organize your pantry, you might consider over the door organizer racks like those sold at The Container Store. It increased my pantry capacity by about 30%, which is great!
