  • Thank you so much for this video!! We’ve had 2 HVAC companies come out and couldn’t figure out why one of our heads was freezing and the other one not getting cold enough! We switched wires to the heads on the outdoor unit and it fixed the problem! Works perfect.
  • @Daddarella

Thank you so much. I just solved the problem. When I saw your video I was having problems with my new mrcool unit. The problem was due to my crossing the electrical lines that belonged to the inside unit .when I powered one of the units the line of the other unit would freeze. So when I connected the proper line to the corresponding unit the problem went away. again thanks for the info. 😎👏👏
  • So I have a Mr Cool DIY System that’s been running fine for 3 months and just this morning the Air Handler similar to the one in your video was frozen. I defrosted it checked all the lines turned it back on but it freezing up again. Any suggestions on this
  • I’ve had issues with freezing off and on since I had installed 2 years ago. Installation was done by an electrician with the help of a hvac buddy. I’ve been trying to find someone to come out and take a look at the system but seems no one is familiar with the Pioneer brand. Any contacts you have in the St Louis Missouri area that might be able to help????
  • Thank you for this video, I think this is my problem. The company came to replace the large coil of the outdoor unit and since then I have this problem. I have three units and one is working fine. Another does not provide air conditioning and the other produces frost. How do we find out which two units I need to reverse? Is there something wrong with the multimeter or something? the cables have no identification so I wonder what to do? thank you

I have 4zone Mitsubishi mini splits, two of the zones not blowing cold air and both indoor coils freezes up sometimes. My Hvac guy came by a few times and can't figure out what's wrong, any suggestions? Thanks
  • any suggestions on the copper lines outside freezing? I have a mitsubishi mini split with two cassettes and the copper line outside keeps freezing
  • hi, unfortunately I haven’t cleaned my filter for 11months (first time living alone I didn’t know) so I think the freezing issue was caused by this. When I turn the fan on it’s making a weird noise, should I keep the fan to continue defrosting or just completely turn off the AC? Hope u see this, thank you

Our mini split sounds like fan or motor bout ready to go out. It makes loud noise like a fan trying to go out

I bought 2 split units and 1 is working perfectly and the other one was not blowing cold air but blowing air ; after a couple days I saw it had frost out a ball of ice on bottom copper line to condenser unit. Do you think my lines need to swapped out? Plz help.

I turned my senville mini split off and only ran 1. The one that was off turned into a solid block of ice. Would me not running it cause that?
  • @DevinHVACInc
Had one doing the same. Lines and com wires were crossed. Was a 4 zone sys
  • @jesusqat

  • @jmorides7267
I can’t for the life of me understand why having the wires mixed up would cause this. Any chance you could explain? Thanks!
  • It is what it is and will be what it will be never know what you'll find out there
