Join actor Henry Cavill with MTV’s Josh Horowitz for a live taping of Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast to discuss his storied career, from Man of Steel to The Witcher to his role in Enola Holmes 2, the eagerly anticipated sequel to the hit Netflix movie.

The new film sees Cavill reprising his role as famous sleuth Sherlock Holmes, Enola’s older brother. Now a detective-for-hire herself, Enola (Millie Bobby Brown) takes on her first official case to find a missing girl, as the sparks of a dangerous conspiracy ignite a mystery that requires the help of friends — and Sherlock — to unravel. Hear Cavill discuss the making of the sequel, his seamlessly witty onscreen rapport with Brown, stories from behind the scenes, upcoming projects, and much more.

Gawd, Henry is huge! I am so disappointed he won't be returning as Superman and because of that I won't ever attend another SM movie, ever. All the best though to Henry on future endeavors.

Hollywood fucked up, he was the perfect Superman, he actually managed to outshine Christopher Reeves. And as far as The Witcher NO ONE can carry Geralt’s sword except Henry. It’s heartbreaking because he’s a rarity in this industry that truly cares about the characters. He’s brilliant and yet so humble.

I there is a nicer human being in the world I aint heard of 'em. He'll always be my Big Blue to me, and I grew up with watching the Christopher Reeves films. Henry embodies the essence of Superman, not just in stature, but in character.

  • @Jacobylax
I don’t like the Snyder DC flicks, but it was a real bummer to see how excited and invested Henry was to come back as Supes, and well, now we know that’s not happening.
  • This interview didn't age well, did it? Henry will always be my Superman, the only one other than Christopher Reeve that really embodies the character.
