imagine asking someone "how are you doing" and them pulling out a gun and reloading it. oh yeah and another thing, isnt it kinda crazy we can understand how someone feels just off of how they do stuff?

The scared and cold reload is actually an extremely good idea, never saw that in a video game before

Always love it when the character doing the reload animation displays that he is flawed, he ain't speedy gonzales and is still a human. You don't need to get a lot requiring that effect, some issues loading in the mag and stuff like that can be well enough to immerse yourself into the mind of the character more.
