Follow along as I replace all of the cutting teeth pockets along the leading edge of this Rock Auger. The customer brought in a damaged auger that would not cut/drill anymore. Hopefully this is of some use to you. Enjoy.

  • Hey mate great video! Repaired a few of these myself years ago when I worked for a piling company. Your approach with repairing that auger and end result was top shelf. Cheers, Kurtis 😎👍

Wow! One hour and fifteen minutes of unadulterated heavy metal mastery. Thanks Isaac!
  • I have been retired for years, but i always enjoy watching you work your magic on everything. No Laser's ,gadgets, special instruments, just a simple square , level and a rod.... We call that common sense ?? Great job, See Ya

Being fantastic at welding is one thing...Being a excellent problem solver makes a cut above the rest
  • @Screws619
I was describing you to my wife that you’re like Bob Ross but you weld instead of paint. Thank you for the content!

Man the level of expertise and intelligence a job like this requires I think is greater than people believe. Nicely done.

Worst thing about these videos is I wish I was there with him learning. This is a great thing he's giving us. Keep it up brother.

A true pleasure to watch a skilled craftsman ply his trade. Well done sir. Much respect from NC 🇺🇸
  • If I had that kind of skill with a torch I would be a lot happier at times. The only way a person comes across the skill level you’ve got is years of hard work. My hat is off to you

I don't have a rock auger to repair in my future but I do enjoy seeing how competent people solve problems, whatever their job is.

Thanks for putting these videos out. I am stuck in a chair at dialysis and can't move for 4 hours. So you can make your videos as long as you want and I'll watch.
  • @TheAlex11211

  • @fls360
Between you and that Aussie Kurtis from CEEA, I now never sleep. You know your trade and never act cocky. A pleasure to watch.
  • @AquaPeet
Haven't skipped anything, you did your craftsmanship on the project and the filming/editing. Great stuff. Your rebuild and explanations make a lot of sense against the original. Wished I could see this 'baby' in action! Bet the customer was very pleased.
