Own an AT4 for home defense, just like Bofors intended. Four Russians break into my house. "Vad fan?" I shout, as I reach for my AT4. Fire the rocket. Three guys are shredded in the explosion. Neighbor's dog gets blown away because I didn't check my backblast. All the windows on the block are shattered. Get shot by the fourth guy because the AT4 is single-use and I'm not carrying a sidearm. Just like Bofors intended.

people do need to realise this is only a husk of a rocket launcher, it cannot be reloaded. this is like having the pistolgrip of a rifle

During basic training, we were told a story about a motorcycle gang that used an AT-4 in an attempted bank robbery. The only problem when they read the instructions was the fact that they were idiots and held the tube wrong way around. So when they went to pull the trigger and blow up the wall on the bank, they fired backwards and sent the rocket flying right out in the woods where it luckily did no harm whatsoever.

Fun fact: the AT4 or maybe this specific variant was used as a reference for the Half-Life2 rocket launcher. The only problem is that the back of the real life launcher is the front of the HL2 one.

The AT4 can't be reloaded with another rocket, that's true, but there's a variant that looks exactly like an AT4 (M287 Trainer) that shoots 9 mm rounds (that's what I used during Basic Training, one tracer round at a time for visual assistance, has to be reloaded manually after every shot).
