The OA was truly one of the best things to come out of Netflix, and I sorely hope Brit is able to revive the series at some point in time.

Loved Brit since The OA. Disgraceful decision by Netflix to cancel it while keeping and funding so much trash. Brit has this soft spoken tone that belies a razor sharp intellect. She speaks so eloquently about her work, the movie industry and life. Such a great writer, actor and person.

I thought OA was brilliant, original, and outside the box. I wish there was MORE of it.
  • I am still so freaking upset by the OA cancelation. I have watched season 1 and 2 over and over and over and over again. Brit please, I am begging you: at some point of your career, finish the story for us. Please. Even if its in writing.

The OA needs to come back and finish it's arc. Whether Netflix continues it or perhaps another platform provides the opportunity. There are so many of us that the show touched in a very real and fundamental way. Brit and Zal found a language that spans worlds within all of us. And we as fans scream into the void begging it's return. Hopefully someone out there with the power to make it happen will finally hear us. Thank you for this insightful interview. It was lovely.

In the OA, I learned what a tremendous brilliant actress Phyllis Smith is. She was phenomenal in the OA!
  • I just wish I get to see how the OA ends in my lifetime. If not produced, then to at least hear of how it would have ended from Brit and Zal. That show life-affirmed my existence in ways I've never felt before. Thank you for making such an important piece of media Brit and Zal! You're up there with the greats. Curently watching Murder and enjoying it, loooove Emma as Darby, and Brit as Lee of course!

The OA is one of the most beautiful and interesting series I’ve ever seen. Was really sad when I heard it was ending after second series.

The way she always looks at the interviewers, paying so much attention and showing genuine interest in what they are asking is so unique.. Like she is ❤ incredibly kind, sweet, ethereal 💫

when i first finished the oa, i was heart broken that it got cancelled. this show is so special. i’ve never seen anything like it. it has romance, comedie, character development, mystery, sci-fi, just basically out of the box thinking. it was truly an incredible show and i am begging for her to finish it. it is the best show i’ve ever watched. i don’t care if it’s just the script or in a show. i’m just very much hoping this show can be brought back and finished, do you think she could try to get it on somewhere different then netflix so it won’t be cancelled? because i truly believe if it was finished and put up, it would become as popular as stranger things. please bring The OA back!!! 😓🙏

She's very eloquent and seems like a humble person. I have so much respect to Brit.

Brit and Zals work is so artistic I can find myself rewatching what theyve made because they leave such intentional clues and nods to the whole of whatever they create. FANFOR LIFE
  • @ArianaLang.
The way she communicates is so poetic and articulate. Like just her word choice and analogies makes me really understand what she’s trying to say and the emotion it carries.
  • I will never stop hating Netflix for stealing The OA from us. Brit Marling is brilliant!! I can't wait to see more of work especially now that she's really producing and directing. I'm loving AMATEOTW!!!!
  • @BereniceQuinones
I just finished the oa and I want more, i can’t believe it was cancelled.

Hearing Brit talking about the mere possibility of The OA returning truly makes my heart sing!! I really hope it can happen one day. It certainly feels like a show that absolutely could come back and make quite the splash doing so.
