Kindjy make efforts towards the early implementation of the Una Lathiani bridge project over Gobind Sagar Lake. When comoleted, traffic can reach Mandi from Una without going to Kiratpur Sahib. That project is part of the Amritsar - Hoshiarpur - Una - Bhota Natioal Highway, which is going on at snail's pace.

The Lathiani Bridge is only 550 m long but it will reduce the distance between Una and Barsar from 48 kms currently to only 16 kms. Beyond that, Ner Chowk is only about 70 kms on the proposed 4 lane highway.

Looking forward to the next trip with Himbus.
