RIAT 2024 saw literally hundreds of aircraft visiting in all shapes and sizes from very lightweight planes to giants like the C17 Globemaster.

On the Monday morning after the show has ended the whole lot have to go by late afternoon - this makes RAF Fairford probably the busiest runways in the UK for these few hours.

On this video you can see the madness unfold as the ATC skilfully organise this epic job.

Also there is a shot of the legendary U2 spy plane return from a mission on final approach . . . once again the RIAT stewards would not allow anyone to stay for just a few more minutes to see it, so it had to be filmed from outside the base.
