Tau get meme'd on a lot but it's genuinely impressive how they've managed to not only survive but thrive in the grim dank of the 41st
  • @sagenod440
Tau battlesuits are some of the the most fun to homebrew imo
  • The XV8 is the workhorse of the T'au Empire in lore if not on tabletop, in order to achieve the rank of Shas'ui (basically a Seargent) you need 4 years of experience and to pass the requisite trial by fire, this is also true for XV25 Stealth Suit teams. Assuming that only 1 in 10 succeed in either of these suggests that on a T'au world with a population of 1 Trillion assuming an equal split in the population of the five castes (The most unreasonable statistic here given that Fire and Earth caste individuals canonically have a higher population that the air and water castes not to mention the Ethereals.) 1 Trillion divided by 5 is 200 Billion, 200 billion divided by 10 is Twenty Billion so at minimum that one world has twenty billion soldiers qualified to operate an XV8 and considering how important they are to T'au doctrine you'd better believe they have those suits on hand, hell even if they could only equip half their qualified pilots with an XV8 that's still 10 BILLION suits. How many Space Marines are there in the galaxy again? 1 million? 2 if we're being REALLY generous. And they typically come to battle at company strength (if that) and rarely at full chapter strength so for a codex compliant chapter that's 100 marines of 1000 total (happy to see guilliman agrees the codex needs some updates) Yeah the Imperium can TOTALLY take the T'au empire you guys it'd only need like, 5 chapters of space marines and a couple billion guardsmen NO WORRIES right?

Honestly, I think if I was an imperial citizen, I would probably try and go live with the Tau
  • I think Battlesuit ZZ is an underrated sequel to Zeta Battlesuit, but honestly Battlesuit 0083 Stardust Memory is still my favorite.
  • @M82Predator
I am loving the monday uploads and at this length. Makes the morning work drudge bearable
  • I love tau fire warrior armor. Fell in love with it since the video game so many years ago.

"NOOO YOU CAN'T BLOW MY MOSTLY MELEE ARMY OFF THE TABLE FROM ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE MAP!" "Haha Riptide goes brrrrrr"
  • @gijs4824
Thank you! What I appreciate is the way you tell the sermon and the use of words. With a nice voice in the ear, soothing and relaxing, the story carries your thoughts.
  • @ionlywantedone
I was literally just thinking a new video should be up sometime soon.
  • @87Kyrosan
30:25 Dedication to using hard points? Well, not quite so dedicated anymore. In the new 10th edition codex, our crisis suits now come premade and with very little customization options. Great Video!

Mate your videos are ☝🏻. Please more longer form content like this, the emperor demands it.
  • @Romir0s
Riptide in lore: extremely expensive prototype deployed by Ethereal personal orders Riptide in game: go-to workhorse that is taken as much as the army size allows, with the cost similar to regular Hammerhead.
  • @ZajVR
This was so fascinating to listen towards, and I really like it how venerable the voice became at 33:17 - 33:38 (Well done on this!) Would love to see more of calmer talks in the future!
  • Okay, marathon over, I'm on my fifth beer, and I think I'm gonna save this for the morning. Thanks.
  • @lukegordon2074
Favourite vid so far - and yes I'm biased haha. Great job man!
