Man, this guy is an engineering genius! Mad skills, I am putting this building up right now and it's a shit ton of work to do especially by yourself!!! Congrats to this dude

Meanwhile mudrfunner guy makes 15 videos about his problems. I have to say this is genius. I also have seen someone use a material lift with a jig as well. Nice work.

My first reply to any YouTube video: Brilliant! I'm so impressed with the design of your rigging and the fact that you were able to do this on your own. So well done. I don't have a tractor but I'm hoping I can use my Atv to pull mine up. I guess I'll have to figure a way to raise the pulling point.

My Hat is off to you! Your jig and rigging are top-notch.
  • Absolutely outstanding. Had a plan and made it all work. Great work my man!
  • Sure could use a video how you made your lifting jig - brilliant! How did you do the first arch - what did you do to keep it from going too far? Ours has been sitting on the packing pallets since it was delivered 3 yrs ago. Estimate from a contractor to build it for us was $30,000. Hence - not built yet. We will need to do it ourselves.

You and I sir always have to figure out a way to do it by ourselves. I hate asking for anyone’s help. Just share your one man job tips and I’ll get it done. Thanks for posting this video.
  • if a 50lbs weight was secured to the top of that pole once the tractor pulled it past say 60 degrees the weight would pull the structure up the rest of the way. leverage/gravity. im guessing on the amount of weight.. id have to do the calculations but i could see how this could be done without the tractor if the weight and leverage was appropriate.. i also noticed a need to secure the bottom while lifting. also when i've watched other videos it seems individual sections are difficult in part due to being flimsy and flop around while lifting especially with larger aches. why not lift 2 sections at a time. seems like it might be more stable less flex.

You Sir are a genius. How did you keep the bottom legs of your jig from sliding while you lifted the sections?
