"The devil must be beating his wife" O.o Honestly wasn't expecting that.

Actually, “the devil must be beating his wife” is actually a really old and outdated phrase for when it’s sunny and raining at the same time. It’s really obscure and doesn’t make up for the voice acting though, lol.

To be fair, I'm not sure how someone could say a line like "Aagh! Help me!  I don't diiie!  Help me, Mr. L'Arc!" in a way that could be taken seriously.

I watch that one horrible voice acting vid from 2010 and now youtube is recommending this to me

I heard the undubbed version, it made this game a serious one. But the dubbed version made this game like a comedy jrpg :D

I just came from a Chaos Wars video so this seems... Mostly fine

Wow, the voice acting in Persona 3 and 4 is NOTHING in comparison to this, you can tell how much effort and soul they put into this dub, get on Arc Rise Fantasia's level Atlus.

"You're hurt! Let me heal you with MAGIC!" "Yes, please." It's like the characters are screaming: "WTFunimation?!"
