I saw this entire documentary with tears in my eyes and so many feelings over learning so much. Thank you Netflix for putting this on your channel and now on Youtube.

This is actually really good. For someone who isn't from the US but always sees about the racial injustice in that country and hears about how things went down but never actually fully understands this has opened my eyes to the fullest.

When the actor playing Frederick Douglass began speaking I burst into tears. So powerful.

"America, we have come so far. We have seen so much. But there is so much more to do.” ― Barack Obama.
Thanks Netflix for making this important documentary; it is very informative and educational for those who want to learn their history. -
This is such an educational documentary for me. While in school in American Samoa and High School in Hawaii and I was not really knowledgeable about the Black History. And when I moved to "America," I watched the differences between how white and black folks have not the same rights. To make a longer story short! My skin is brown and I also now feel the awful way that most people of color are being treated. I just want to say thank you for this documentary because I've learned something new about my right as a human-being. And now I will Embrace My 14th Amendment Right!!!!!
