Organised by students from ZSL’s Institute of Zoology on the London NERC DTP, and featuring ZSL's Ike Mohar and Nathalie Pettorelli, this event brought together professionals from some of London's major environmental and academic institutions to discuss issues of racism and inequality within the Environmental Sciences. Panellists discussed the lack of diversity that exists within the sector, the need to better acknowledge diverse figures who contributed to historical scientific knowledge production, inequality in scientific knowledge production today, and what institutions and individuals can do to improve practice today.
