The Marvel Voices Behind These Animated Characters

We’re used to seeing them in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but have you ever thought that certain voices in animated roles sound a bit like some of the Avengers? These talented actors include Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Robert Downey Jr, Tessa Thompson, Ryan Reynolds, Tom Hiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch. One MArvel actor even took on a lego version of Wonder Woman! Actors like Scarlett Johansson have been doing voiceover work for years. The actress appeared in the live-action Mowgli, The Spongebob SquarePants Movie and even sang as a rock and roll porcupine named Ash in the film Sing! Chris Pratt spends his fair share of time in the recording booth as well, bringing to life characters like Emmet Brickowski in the Lego film and Barley Lightfoot in Onward. When Tom Holland isn’t busy swinging through New York City with Zendaya by his side as Spider-Man and MJ, he can be found recording voice overs for some of the most adorable and nerdy animated characters, like Ian Lightfoot in Onward and Walter Beckett in Spies in Disguise. Doctor Strange himself, Benedict Cumberbatch is responsible for voicing a very classic animated character - none other than the creature with a heart that was a few sizes too small - the Grinch! Cumberbatch got very physical while he was bringing the role of Shere Khan to life in the live-action Mowgli directed by Andy Serkis. Ryan Reynolds had an amazing time bringing Detective Pikachu to life, especially because he knew he’d get to share it with his children. We have no doubt they were impressed.
