The man behind the image.

Long before Elvis was heralded as the king of rock 'n' roll, he was a faithful fan of gospel music. Although it was instrumental in shaping his spiritual life as well as his career, no documentary has truly chronicled this facet of his life... until now.

Until I became an Elvis fan back in the early 60's I'd never ever heard of gospel music. Raised as Catholic which I didn't understand - it was Elvis' gospel music that introduced me n my family to Jesus and my Christian faith. I am blessed for this! ❤❤❤

Hollywood could use a good dose of Elvis' faith...and to have a good look at who also gave them their talent!
The difference is...that Elvis was grateful and never forgot to thank God!

I am 44 years old will turn 45 this year, i was only 3months and 16 days old when Elvis left this world. I became an Elvis Fan when i was just 4 years old, honesty i don't know what exactly got me into loving Elvis, i didn't have friends that listened to Elvis and my mom was more of the Bob Seger kind of music lover, my father more country but for some reason i heard Elvis and just absolutely loved him. I remember one year my mom got me my own jam box for Christmas and some Elvis cassette tapes, i had been listening nonstop for days and finally my mom said sweetie not everyone wants to listen to Elvis over and over so i turned it down then laid my head on top of the speaker as if the whole jam box was my headphones and that's how i fell asleep every night using my jam box as my headphones/ pillow. REST IN PEACE ELVIS i never got to meet you on this earth but i know one day in HEAVEN i will.
