I think EVERYBODY would rather be in Italy 🇮🇹 eating & exploring than ANYWHERE else right now. I felt I could taste the dishes thru the tv & wanted to hug them all .. all that Italian language being spoken is intoxicating ! 💞 🙏Praying this show will spur a travel bonanza for Italy🌍 post - Covid to bring joy & love and an economic boom to this hardest hit region of the world. 💞

Would love to see this show. I’m Irish, married to an Italian and we live in Ireland. We’re missing our Italian family and missing Italy itself since covid.

I'm from N.Y. & I now live in Napoli the last 5 years. And I'm so happy that Stanley did this to show why I love this city so much & not Rome or the North.

Great show! Family viewing on the couch together every Sunday night. I appreciate that we see amazing food and people but also some of the problems facing Italy. A good history lesson with great food!

Stanley Tucci is just so charming, I love seeing him in anything. And I love that he pronounced zucchine right (not zucchini, as Americans say, but zucchinE).

Stanley, if during the course of this show you're thinking of eating your way through Rome, please consider going to a restaurant called Da Renato e Luisa, in the city centre (near a square called Largo Argentina). I have taken dozens of people there, Italian, British, American, German, French and other nationalities... and several of them said outright it was the best meal they had had in their lives. The passion and imagination that chef Renato puts into his food is equal to him kindness and humility. Luisa, his partner, serves tables and is an impeccable hostess.

What a great series! Bravo Stanley and CNN. In a way that's similar to Anthony Bourdain, Stanley Tucci showed not just Italy, but how all of history can be told through a cookbook, and that sharing a meal is sharing that history.

Tucci says that Espresso was invented in Milan- NOT. The espresso was invented in Venice in the early 20th century. The drink was created by businessman Luigi Bezzera who was experimenting with coffee to see how he could make his brew faster.
