In this video we take a look at a list of 15 actors who could have been cast as Marvel characters but either were denied the role, gave up on the audition process, or just didn’t quite fit in with the role when it came down to it. Each of these famous actors have their own story to tell about why these Marvel roles just didn’t quite work out for them. It’s crazy to imagine just how different the Marvel universe would have looked if these actors would have been casted instead of those who ended up with the roles. This list of fifteenth actors includes Timothee Chalamet who was almost Spiderman, Saoirse Ronan who was nearly Scarlet Witch, Emily Blunt as a potential Black Widow, Amandla Stenberg who was almost Shuri, Amanda Seyfried and Olivia Wilde both almost as Gamora, Tom Hiddleson and Liam Hemsworth both almost as Thor, Lindsay Lohan as almost Maria Hill, John Krasinski and Sebastian Stan both as potential Captain Americas, Sam Rockwell as Iron Man, Jason Mamoa and Chadwick Boseman both almost cast as Drax, and finally Adam Sandler who almost voiced Rocket Raccoon. Imagine if these actors took the place of some of your favorite super heroes. Would you still love their stories? Which movie would be your favorite? Who would you rather have seen on screen? Marvel is very good at casting. That's probably a major reason for their success. They cast for personality, not just looks.

I truly believe Saoirse Ronan would of been great in the role of Scarlet Witch but now that Elizabeth Olsen has been in the role, I can't imagine anyone else doing it. She's wonderful as the Scarlet Witch.

Tom is the Loki. I can't imagine anyone else playing Loki . I love Thor but I'm always more excited to see Loki. It's like the perfect casting.
