The appearance of the dynamic NYC graffiti duo REVS and COST on the Ricki Lake show. REVS and COST whose cryptic messages, enigmatic meanings, and larger than life personas dominated the NYC graffiti scene in the early 1990's. Their work concentrated in downtown Manhattan. The REVS COST phenomenon helped inspire the next generation of graffiti writers and so called "street artists", while at the same time perplexed the masses of New York citizenry.
