In Memphis's Forrest Park, there's a statue of Nathan Bedford Forrest, one of the most infamous and powerful racists in American history. Lately it's been at the center of the city's often shaky race relations. In part 3, the local Memphis gangs form a mega alliance called Devine United International or D.U.I. for short.

    I don't understand... if all of the gangs could come together on this one day, why couldn't they sign a treaty and stay at peace? If they can get along for one day, why not every day?
  • I apreciate the words of the reform racist and the fact that people who use to be part of the clan can separate themselves from the "group think " phenomenon and really analyze whether or not their beliefs are founded and beneficial. I love now that his goal is to fight against the system of oppression that he once promoted. If more people would get together and enlist the help of reformed racism, more things would get done.
