The desert is a natural extension of the inner silence of the body. It is a calm, but at the same time raw and unforgiving place. Rub'Al Khali means translated the Empty Quarter - and it is one of the least inhabited places on earth. An adventurous motorcycle ride in the south of Oman, far off from civilization to the harshest and most beautiful part of the Arabian Desert.

There is an old Bedouin saying. ‘If a scorpion shows himself under a desert moon, he comes in peace and will not harm the weary traveller. However, his friends will, so eat him before he alerts his scorpion buddies.’ 🤭 Okay, maybe I made that up. But it makes sense.
The desert. So desolate, so unforgiving, but also disarmingly beautiful and alive. Always looking for its next prey. Good thing you ate that scorpion. 😉 -

Hi Lea. Greetings from Oz. Carrying spare petrol is always a problem, especially on corrugated outback tracks. Everything shakes off !
A soft fuel bladder works well and is easily stored when empty. Magic adventure into the desert. Thanks for taking us along. -
