āI donāt even know where to get ticketsā
Itās ok girl no one does -
"If you go, don't bother coming back"
That isn't love. Period. Disgusting. Especially from people that talk about the "devil". Abandoning your child is disgusting. -
If a parent ever tells their child that they're 'not welcome home', they've failed as a parent.
-
Can we talk about how the film crew let them get all the way to the airport ticket counter without telling them you need id to fly lol
-
I don't think people understand how much courage it takes to leave communities like the Amish. Shame, no support, no where to turn to, no experience of life on your own. These girls may appear somewhat scared but they are so strong I can not even believe that they are doing this.

'I like him just the way he is. I wouldn't want him to change.'
Aww she's beautiful -
There should be an official support/help group for people like these who is stepping into society for the first time... it would really help them out alot mentally and emotionally
-
Their parents were so cold, no wonder they left. It's not the way to keep a family together and no way to treat your children. I wish these girls all the best. <3 Live your best life.
-
The fact that the boys parents wouldnāt let him get the surgery he needed because āgod wanted him to be like thatā is heartbreaking. Iām so glad heās found a girl who likes him for him.
-
"Should we tell them they need documents to board?"
"LOL no." -
So happy to see their hearts flutter. Just holding hands and writing his number made them fall in love. Looks so pure and lovely.
-
Their everyday language is interesting, itās like a mix between old German, some Dutch and English.
-
I feel so sorry for the taxi driver, his parents forcing him to be Amish at a young age and not even provided braces for his teeth.
-
The thing is...if the world had a power outage these girls would survive easily and we'd all be screwed lol.
-
I was about to cackle when I saw Daniel, but they're all just so cute.
And he just writes his number on her palm, what a chad. -
I honestly didn't expect this documentary to be so wholesome. I do hope they get to explore the world and experience the life they deserve.
-
I feel sad when the parents say if you leave donāt come back
-
āIt is the devil out thereā
Also Amish people: āGod wanted him to drink dranoā -
I travel the world full time. Iāve flown over 200 times. Seeing these womanās reactions was enduring. It brought a smile to my face. Best of luck on their journeys.

I am encouraged by the bravery of this two girls! They are an example for meā¤š
