In India, budgerigars, ringnecks, alexandrines and even flinches are called by the nickname "Mithu"! Because it means sweetie 😉

Just love how they are grateful towards each other for their company.

That’s not a pet, but a friend coming for coffee and peanuts every morning. Love it! ❤️
  • 2:27, when she opens the window and there are several birds perched on the bars, what a beautiful sight!!!
  • @jaymac7203
The bird can sense good vibes coming from the woman 🥰

"She was making the morning beautiful for me"...the love and benevolence was palpable in her voice🥰🥰

02:07. The bird was pulling the water bowl to a comfortable height :D before drinking, so smart and cute.

The woman's voice was so soothing, especially when she spoke in her native tongue.

I love these stories of people befriending wild birds. Mithu wasn't forced to visit her. Not only does she come for food, but she also just hangs out and chooses to be Radhika's friend.
  • If I was a bird, I would also visit that balcony every day. It's like birdie heaven! Swings, bird houses, treats and somebody to talk to. What else do you need? Friends and family? Yes! Invite them!

This is the ONLY way to "have" a "pet" bird.. Keeping a physically healthy bird in a cage and/or clipping it's wings is the worst kind of cruelty. This is a beautiful example of a genuine symbiotic relationship 😊 thanks for sharing!

Radhika says, "It's like a miracle for me." Thanks, Radhika, for sharing your miracle with the rest of us on The Dodo channel.

The fact that there's so many of them and yet only one was close enough with her proves that they already share a unique bond. 🙏❤
  • With her beautiful voice and accent, and that smile? It's no shock this feathered friend kept coming back, how could you not?
