SpaceX is targeting Sunday, October 18 at 8:25 a.m. EDT, 12:25 UTC, for its fourteenth Starlink mission, which will launch 60 Starlink satellites to orbit. Falcon 9 will lift off from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and a backup opportunity is available on Monday, October 19 at 8:06 a.m. EDT, 12:06 UTC.

Falcon 9’s first stage previously supported Crew Dragon’s first demonstration mission to the International Space Station, launch of the RADARSAT Constellation Mission, and three Starlink missions this year. Following stage separation, SpaceX will land Falcon 9’s first stage on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. Falcon 9’s fairing halves each previously supported two missions.

23:20 That is the smoothest and cleanest landing I've seen yet.
  • @TheSpacecraftX
That's the cleanest landing footage from a drone ship that I've ever seen.

isn't it surprising how some of us just says good job and takes this for granted without truly realizing that this took them nearly 17 years of nonstop research and testing just to reach this point?
  • @hqcart1
23:15 became so normal and predicted that no one cheered! I still love to watch it every time and saw WOW!

I am in my seventies and cut my teeth first on sci fi novels by Heinlein, Clark and Niven; so this is like food for my scientific soul. I never get tired of these launches and I think that I have watched every one that I could get. The greatest thing that I have seen so far is when the twin boosters of the Falcon Heavy landed together at Kennedy. Looking forward to the launches of Starship. I feel that SpaceX, with its landing and relaunch capabilities, is the only viable solution to realistic inter-planetary abilities. The others are still launching and throwing away a massive amount of their hardware on each launch; not only wasteful, but makes round trips much less efficient. Only way to go is to launch the effort and bring it back home in one piece.

Favorite parts are the landing of the first stage and Starlink deploy
  • @liquiddenti
67 successful landings. But it still feels like a first landing no matter how many times I see these wonderful rockets land. Goosebumps every time.

its so routine its ridiculous.. can't wait for starship

23:14 Note how fast after touchtown engines turn off, SpaceX had mastered ladning to perfection :)
  • @Truebro79
I'm baffled how I struggle to appreciate a rocket launch as much now cuz space x has made it so normalized and routine, Incredible.
  • @UncleFjester
Damn if this isn't getting as routine as taking the Tesla Roadster out for a Sunday drive
  • @mkdeviphone
Please bring back Telemetry-data of all stages from start on, I really like watching these
  • @MayHBLee
"Mom, I don't know what to do!" "Watch Starlink, that's always good!"
  • @zucre6270
It's so unbelievable how fast space x has come. Near close to perfection
  • @Orisha1990
That fairing catch crew must have gone from high fives to wtf's pretty quick.
  • @shahid5499
Love watching the level of technology humans have reached in the history of humanity.
  • @RichardWalls
Unbelievable how routine this now looks when just a few years back (now I guess 5 years ago?) we were watching this incredible event unfold for the first time.
