Yes to all of these things!!!! The shock that people get when I tell them we don’t own a tv😂 Some people say it’s “unrealistic” to raise a child without a tv and no one can actually spend that much time with their children. But I look at my one year old and I’ve never been happier with her and my husband! She is the happiest baby and we are so close, I love playing with her and she loves cooking and cleaning with me!
  • I'm so glad you're passionate about homeschooling! We lived in an old neighborhood when my kids were going up. They played outside, in every season, We spent all day at the library. I wanted them to love learning! And reading! My daughter would bring home a stack of books and I wouldn't see her until dinner. In the 90's everyone was so concerned about socializing. Lol I would be stop in the store and ask my my children weren't in school. One now is a professor of nursing with a masters degree, she also is neuroscience manager in a hospital, she started college at 16. My son has a computer science and engineering degree. He didn't find his passion until a little later. Why is there set rules or timetables? Let kids learn how and what they're interested in. Then they'll love it! Whatever you do, don't worry if you're doing enough. I love being a minimalist! Why spend time cleaning a trinket when you could be at the beach?

Mom of 3 boys. We haven’t owned a tv for 8 years! Our neighbors think it’s the coolest thing that our kids are always running around using their imaginations outdoors. We call them 90’s kids living in 2023. 😂 I am a minimalist but I am also starting to try and implement slow living into our home. I think I’ve watched nearly every video of yours at this point. You truly inspiring my girl! Thank you Thank you!
  • I didn’t realize that what I was desiring had a name. Now I know, “slow living.” This gives me so much encouragement and support. Bless ya girlie!

As a small YouTuber with a full-time job, who also plans to homeschool, I need all the slow living tips I can get! I LOVE that you share the message of slow living WITH kids. There are many channels on this topic, but you’re the first I’ve come across that has children. Subbed! 😊

My husband and I got rid of all our social media a few years ago. And we no longer have WiFi, just our phone services. And it really has let out unnecessary stress and freed up so much wasted time on social media.

Hi! Can you make a video (or point me to it) about how to handle the daily/weekly chores when you're out and about a bunch with the kids? My kids LOVE playing outside and i support that. But then i feel like I'm constantly behind on dishes/laundry/cleaning etc. Thank you!

I would love to live that close to the beach!! When I worked from home I didn't enjoy it but everyone is different, nature is a good one!fab video
  • I LOVE slow living with my kids even today with them being teens. Staying at home with them was not easy but it was what was best. Homeschooling was fun until covid when all the co-ops we went to shut down, other than the music lessons they took (which went virtual for a while). I love spending time in nature with my boys. I look forward to homeschooling the baby in my womb (and hopefully will have another child for him to grow up with like my two older boys have had in one another). We haven't had TV channels ever. . .even when we got married nearly 19 years ago. We do have netflix, but it is interesting how little my sons even want to watch movies. I grew up a movie fanatic and enjoy watching them still. My favorite thing to do with my sons has been going to the lake multiple times a week in the summertime. I don't know if I want to do that with an infant this summer (baby due in early June), but my mom and mother-in-law is going to take them to the lake still. I hope I can go on lots of walks with them. I don't do well in the cold so I am inside the whole time in our little place when it is cold. It is difficult to find things to do. I used to just read to my sons for hours and hours. I read A Christmas Carol to them over the winter. They still like being read to. hehe.
