These sound very tempting BUT - 21 years ago I made the move to Hungary. Turns out today it is the safest most beautiful and least expensive place to live. It is in the heart of Europe if you want to get in your car and travel - go to the countryside to buy from farmers - fruits, vegetables, raw milk and milk products and even meat. I had no choice - when I figured my style of living on my $1000 retirement budget - it would have been a sad fact anywhere. Cashed in my 401K and even with the penalty for early withdrawal - it bought me a 1000 sq ft downtown apartment with high ceilings and lots of windows. By now, I've become a dual citizen which means free domestic travel and medical insurance for under $40/month ALL INCLUSIVE. Can't tell you how relieved I am not having to worry about ending up on the streets for my old age. Now there is also a country house and a vineyard. Was a realtor in NC so if you have questions - please feel free to ask. I'm retired and would love to help anyone else who wants to enjoy their golden years.

I'm an American living in Cebu City, Philippines. Very safe and still very affordable. Beautiful here.

You can retire at a young age if you invest wisely on time, Most times it amaze me greatly the way I moved from an average lifestyle to earning over $63k per month, utter shock is the word. I have understood a lot in the past few years to doubt that opportunities are bound in the financial markets, The only thing is to know where to focus.

$1000 per month in province is even only for upper class, middle class Filipinos can only afford to spend less than $250 a month but still live pretty decently

A friend of mine is from The Philippines, collects a military pension and some 50% disability with his pension and lives like a king! He hasn’t worked since retiring years ago.

You may also consider: Vietnam, Philippines, South Korea, and Indonesia. These Southeast Asian countries are much
cheaper to live. And people are very hospitable.

We've been in Costa Rica since 1999. Raised three daughters here and couldn't be happier. My father-in-law gave us a lot and we built our house for $15k. My wife's advanced degree cost about $3k. One oldest daughter had a full scholarship to UCR and graduated with an advanced degree. Brought my Dad down here and we got him full coverage healthcare for $75 per month. Yes there's crime here but no more than the good old US of A.

Between 2008 & 2015 I lived in Colombia,, on the Caribbean coast at Barranquilla. I had retired from the UK, went for 3 weeks, but stayed 7 years! The part in this video re. Colombia was so true. The lifestyle was so laid bank, music everywhere and the fruit ..... I generally felt quite safe, but you must be careful NOT to draw attention to yourself. Think carefully how you dress, don’t drive around in flashy./ new or expensive cars, accept the friendly nature of the people .... and enjoy the difference!

Success is not built on success. It's built on failure, It's built on fraustration. it's built on fear that you have to overcome. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

I always find these types of area evaluation videos show how people never leave their house and try to tell everyone else how great things are in other places.

If you're tourist $2K is cheap. But if you're traveller $2K is very expensive.
