In this video, I'm comparing and contrasting 5 different preschool curriculum programs! Sonlight, Abeka, Horizons, Gentle + Classical Preschool, and Peaceful Preschool. These are each VERY different programs! I will let you peek inside the various workbooks and get to see more of the design of each curriculum, and I'll talk about their strengths and weaknesses. Keep scrolling through this description and I will LINK to each of these different curriculums and their websites so that you can explore them more. I really hope that this video with help you in choosing the preschool curriculum that is RIGHT for your family!

No ONE curriculum will be the best choice for everyone, and that's the beauty of homeschool. You might end up using the same curriculum for all your kids, or a different program with each kid. You may end up combining aspects of two different programs!

Things to note:
- I mentioned that we no longer had the Abeka teacher's guide. This doesn't not mean that it wouldn't be useful to any homeschooler, and in fact, I think it would be very useful, especially if you are just beginning your journey. But my family has acquired too much curriculum over 25 years of homeschool to hold onto EVERY piece of curriculum, so when we figured out that we weren't really using the teacher's guide, after using Abeka workbooks with a couple preschoolers, we didn't hold onto it.
- The Peaceful Preschool guide that I show in this video is meant to come AFTER the year of "Peaceful Preschool," which is why the activities are very advanced. Having looked into Peaceful Preschool, I do think that their program is designed more at the level of an older preschooler, not so much angled toward the 2-3 year old level.
