As a 30-year home schooling mom of 6 (only one 13-year-old to go), I can verify every hack you talk about here (many of them learned the hard way). It's easy to forget that home "educating" is not school; it's a lifestyle, and it pays huge dividends well beyond academics. Thank you for all your great tips. Enjoy the journey!

Thank you so much for this! We are pulling our kids out of public school next school year and I’m so nervous about this - but also really excited! I saved this video because I think I’ll need to reference it often 😅

Using the internet ... you are talking to the choir!!! No but seriously, my son loves geography and mapping and I always get lost even with GPS. So he literal sit in the car with my phone (or not) and gives me directions. That’s utilizing my kids! 😊❤️

  • Thank you so much for this video! 😭 I really needed to hear these tips and the reassurance that homeschool doesn’t have to be the same as traditional school. It is okay to learn in our on way. I really appreciate this so much and I’m sending you a virtual hug 🤗!

I am homeschooling 4 ranging from 7 to 13 and I have my days of worrying if I'm doing enough...if I'm doing my children justice...if I'm missing something that I should be doing. But watching this I realized I do all of the things in your list! Pat on the back! Sometimes it's hard and some days you need that little boost of confidence. Thank you!!! Time to take on a new day!!
