The younger generation needs a big dose of this
  • My parents, in their 90’s would listen to to this Album with great faith and joy. My father passed 3 years ago but my mother now 101 years still listens, and sings. Praise God
  • My grandmother had 1 Tennessee Ernie Ford record. I spent a lot of time at her house, so I was very familiar with it. Grammy passed away when I was 13. I am now 73. So happy to be able to hear this voice praising God once again. Today's contemporary Christian music is wonderful but nothing compares to listening to songs you heard as a child.
  • Our God stood by my Grandmothers side for 89 years , he never left her side , not once .❀

Lord Jesus you are the reason we are singing these songs. Lord Jesus you get all the honor, glory and praise!
  • Was a young girl of 12 and went with my family to hear you sing I left a note in the basket with hearts in all the corners asking for a certain song I was overjoyed that you did but flushed red when you called out Tannis Logan asked me to stand then gave a word of promise and encouragement . You did not know my father was fighting terminal cancer .He had weeks to live .I was praying so we’re 100’s;1000’s . God gave me the gift of you coming and encouraging a little girl who went on to preach the gospel >I gave my lift to talk about Jesus not doubting but believing the gospel could ignite others to believe too. God heard the prayers That little blushed 10 years old is now 69 and my dad lived to be 80 plus years Thank you we will see each other again
  • I loved sitting by my Grandpa in church listening to him sing. He could make our pew vibrate with his powerful bass voice. Then he introduced me to Tennessee Ernie Ford and I was blessed to have two such men teaching me with God's music.
  • Thank you God for most Beautiful Gospel Music to start my Day in Thankfullness. β€οΈπŸ™

I had forgotten Mr Tennessee Ernie Ford. Playing this for my 93 and 91 year old parents. Thank you. Bless you.
  • I grew up listening to Ernie so much. My family loved him !! A Beautiful, Blessed Entertainer and Person ! There were 10 of us. My father was not working, there was no such thing as welfare back then ! We had a big garden and my parents and older brother hunted for food. We still had great times, my father could play a lot of Ernie Ford's songs !! On weekends, people came, they danced to music my relatives, father and brother played. When I am in pain, laying in my hospital bed, there is nothing like listening to gospel songs !! Thank You Lord, for our Gospel Singers ! It eases my pain, feeling The Lord Close To Me .

I'm 63 years old and I remember watching Tennessee Ernie Ford on tv. I was probably 8 or 9 years old. He was a good man and he was funny too. I remember when he sang I took notice. He would sing Sixteen Tons. I can still remember him singing that song. I'm happy he left us his gospel music. His powerful voice makes me take notice still to this day. We sure do need his gospel today.
  • God is using me in his vine yard as a preacher. This is my tenth year preaching the word of God in Nigeria, West Africa. These songs inspire me whenever I listen to them. Glory to God in heaven.
  • Listening to these beautiful hymns sung by Tennessee Ernie Ford, brings me peace and reinforces my faith & Trust in God. I feel He is always with me in my challenge of being a widow for 7 years. At 92, it is comforting to know that God will take me to His home when my work on earth is done. Perfect I am not but I know that He loves me & forgives my sins. Thanks for this music which reminds me that He loves me so.
  • I am 70 and listen to him my life.and i loved him for ever till i go home love richard.

I had never heard this, so true. Lord help us all to stand , until we can give up this earthly mantle, and finally, stand with you in heaven , thank you for abiding in us here, to keep us safe amid the trials and turmoil's, and our faults and failures. Oh my merciful and graceful savior, How I love thee.
