This is exactly why YouTube is THE BEST thing that ever happened to the internet. The whole world just got an opportunity to hop on a stranger’s private jet and chat with him for 45 minutes about life. Crazy. Keep up the great work you’re doing Noah!

The amount of peace and calm this man has when he's thinking about answers. This is actually life.

The guy who owns the plane, is a perfect example of how most super wealthy people think. They are constantly re-evaluating everything, including their mental and physical well being, always searching for areas to improve on. I grew up in a upper middle class town where i was constantly around very wealthy people, being a poor kid, I always took any opportunity to ask questions. If we were driving together, the longer the ride, the more questions. I got to the point of seeing how these people tick. I will say, it has serve me well, as I writing this from 40k feet up in the air from my privately owned jet....

“Life is about the quality of your emotions.” I loved this statement. This is gold.
  • There needs to be far more interviews with James. This guy speaks from real experience, and a "regular guy" attitude. Brilliant!!
  • @joegomez8367
James is a wise, humble, and extremely cool person. The world needs more people like him. Great interview. Thank you for sharing Noah.

"Physical health is mental health" So true! I watch some strongmen, one of them retired, that say working out helped their depression. Or fitness influencers that ask people at gyms why they come to the gym. You will be surprised how many people said they did it to get fit, but found that it also helped their depression. Some even said their depression was cured by going to the gym, using their bodies. Physical health is SO important.

Noah is a great interviewer. Doesn't interrupt and let's the man talk.
  • @jasonmiller517
This guy clearly states the value of his time, and how busy he is, yet he gives it away to a complete stranger. I have to respect this man and his authentic generosity. So many takeaways, too. Thank you, James.
  • @ebanderson
Noah’s ability to be silent after getting an answer to a question is a masterclass in conversation.
  • What a great down to earth ex navy man that's made good decisions in his life. It is so generous of him to take people along on his trip. He's definitely a good human being. Money changes most people, but it doesn't seem to have changed this man. Great video!
  • @mountainguyy
James, from listening to you speak, I really get how much you value your time. That makes what you shared with Noah and the rest of us here in Youtube land all the more valuable. Many, MANY thanks! 🙏
  • Love how Noah doesn't talk when he's answering. There's quite a bit of awkward silence, but you can tell Noah anticipates this and it pushes James to dig deeper into his answers. Too many interviewers talk more than they should which keeps a lot of golden nuggets from interviewees hidden.

This guy is the ultimate unassuming cool guy. He’s a billionaire that talks to you like an equal. Love that he explains that we eat the same stuff, have the same problems, he just has more resources to try to fix his problems, but overall we’re all the same. This is the guy that you can play weekly poker with smoke cigars and just hanging out like a normal human. Bravo to you on getting on the plane. This interview has got to be life changing for you. Good luck man
  • @JM-ky7kh
Life changing thought provoking interview. I think matey genuinely enjoyed the questions. And he was very grounded and practical in his answers. I got a lot out of it. There's some real gems here.
  • @TheSameGuyAgain
It´s one of the best interviews i ever saw (saw it the 2nd time and it gives you always energy by listening). I can agree with noah when he said: i wanna lern golf, stretch and join the navy. We need another interview with James.
  • @jimstevetom
This has got to be the best interview on YouTube! No planning, no prep, all authentic life experience and perspective without pretence. Awesome, Noah! Do it again.
  • @DEATHTRUTH
Big respect to the interviewer. Just listening and keeping quiet when the guy is talking. Sometimes we don't need to say anything, just listen.
  • @bobmoe5934
This guy is such an inspiration to me. I have a bunch in common with his history. Paper route, Navy, finance… Makes me want to step it up.
  • @ashleywalker2539
This is beyond amazing. Success has no shortcuts, there’re ways to attain it.
