What are your favorite morning time subjects?

I never heard of a pocket park till moving to the small city we live in now. We basically just refer to pocket parks as those little structures hidden away in residential areas. Some are super hidden in our city. Like everyone’s backyard backs on to it and you have to walk a very narrow path through houses to get there but it’s still city property! Just recently started watching your videos! Love all the ideas and how much fun it sounds like you’re going to have with science and geography this year!!

New friend here! We always start our morning read aloud time with Bible and used More Than Words last year and loved it! This year we are using Our 24 Family Ways. After Bible time we read chapter books. Sometimes they are related to our other subjects, and sometimes they are just fun reading! Great video! Looking forward to watching your channel!

Thank you for this! So fun to see what other families' baskets look like :) I still need to get our morning basket organized:) But my plan is similar to what yours looks like, the subjects we will do all together. Bible/devotional, history, science, read alouds (fun or pertaining to history and science curriculum), and then any extras we are adding in, like Spanish or sign language flashcards. Enjoy your day!!

Love that 50 states activity book! Would you say its appropriate for kindergarten level or wait til 1st grade and above or when it goes along with a corresponding curriculum??
