My wife and I built our log home ourselves when we were 23 and still in the same home. At age 67 we are building a 24x12 cabin on our farm for the hunting season. Keep on keeping on! Great work kids!

Your conversation about 'banging out the cabin in 4 days' reminds me of conversations with my wife Anne Clay -- whenever we start a project she talks about the amazing amount of work we will get done in a short period of time -- and as we all know it takes longer and we get less done, so I just go with her optimistic predictions. I know we will get it done, when it's done. Love your simple idea, and the ease with which any one of us could build it.

So cool, I watched your husband's 1st video. My folks are from MI/IN - they moved to NC in 1984, I grew up in NC, and then in 1999 I got a job in Japan and have lived in Japan and Taiwan for the last 21 years. My family has land on the IN/MI border - I am not a fan of the cold weather there, but this project is so neat. Thanks for taking the time to make the video while making this - lots of work!!
