My sister 8 years older than me, had 2 Or 3 foot lockers full of all the old music We used to listen to , kept in pristine condition, from LPs to 45 s. How I miss those days. She was my hero, Beautiful Judy, I miss you & our brothers and sisters more each day. Tho I know it won’t be the same, I’ll see you again in our Father’s House.

Graduated high school in 1965.....went to lots of "sock hops" where this kind of music was current. Can't beat it. Beautiful stuff to dance with your latest crush. Ben E King has one of the smoothest styles ever! So many great singers and groups back then. Still sound good today.

Born 1952, I grew up listening to this stuff. 50s, 60s and 70s gotta be the best 30 years off music for all time. Bet no one can name any current artist whose music/songs will be giving this much pleasure 50, 60 and 70+ years from now. Rest my case your honour.

I remember slow dancing to this mans music , how sweet it was. I asked my 16 yr old grandson if he slow danced .... He did not have a clue about slow dancing.... How Sad... This music will never return....however it will never be forgotten. Thanks for this great post.
