Jesus. The circus footage is hard to watch. I'm so glad this beautiful boy is out of that now.

Circuses falling out of favour is a good thing.

Many South American countries have banned circus animal performances! The rest of the world, including us here in USA, need to learn from them!!!
  • Hoover seeing & feeling grass is just so beautiful. I'm so glad he got rescued!
  • Now Hoover can just kick back and take it easy. Thanks BCR for what you do.

ADI already released a video about Hoover's recue called "freedom for Hoover the tiger: Hoover's tale". He is such a gentle giant cat! So great that he has a happy life now!
  • @vzmkitty
Beautifully heartwarming. Thank you for everything you do.
  • @Tiddybeth
Thank you for stepping in, and giving Hoover a new and safe life.

As a child : I love seeing animals in the circus😃 Me now: I hate any circus that features animals👿🖕 I'm glad Hoover will be staying in such luxurious place for the rest of his life.🐯😊

It hurts so bad to see Hoover in that small cage and being used and abused 😥. On the positive though, I'm extremely happy to see him soaking in the sun on his deck. THANK YOU ADI and BCR!😘💕
  • I was hoping that the whole circus crew were arrested! How disgusting! Tigers belong in the wild not doing tricks! Now I understand why he paces sometimes.

Thank you for saving Hoover. I hate to think what could of happened to him if these kind people wouldn't have saved him. I see a few people have this video a thumbs down. Really????? I just can't figure some people out. Heartless.
  • I can't believe some people would do this to such a beautiful cat and species luckily there are people like you, big cat rescue to help big cats in need there needs to be more people like you THANK YOU
  • This has made me cry, both for the suffering he endured and the beautiful life he now has. I loved seeing him hesitantly stepping onto grass (in Peru) for probably the first time. Then seeing him walking in his enclosure at BCR looked as though he was in a jungle! I saw some type of documentary a while back (PBS I think?) that showed various animals rescued from carnivals. I saw a tiger (some of your footage here, and much more) and kind of got excited when I realized it was Hoover! Although all I ever do is watch your videos and sometimes share, I feel like I am part of you great sanctuary. I guess it is because y'all have taken the time to answer my many questions. I want to thank you for all you do for the cats, big and small, and for making me feel as though I have a small part. <3
  • I'd only seen a few bits and pieces of the material here. Thanks for putting it all together in such an inspiring package! I can't imagine being the person making Hoover perform; it seems to heartless and inhumane, not to mention pointless and dangerous. I know the bottom line is almost always money, but I don't understand how someone can find that entertaining or acceptable. Thanks for giving him a great forever home, and thanks to ADI for doing such a good job too.

I'm sorry, I could not watch the parts about his previous existence and how he was treated. Just couldn't do it.... Such a beautiful animal should never have to experience such disrespect.
  • @RoadRunner1980
The circus footage was so hard to watch, especially knowing that Hoover was the only surviving tiger from that circus afaik.
