What a great life you have! Living and working in the wilderness, machine work, and blowing rocks up, could be a man's dream!

Don't kid yourself, this isn't work for him! He's having too much fun blowing things up! Love it.

That last slo-mo shot was the best. Very cool video. When you cut a drainage ditch right across the road. That is exactly what I would have done.

Watching you drill and blast the rock brought back memories of when I was a teenager and I would help my Dad to do the same thing. We used an air operated drill run by a gas compressor and would poke a hole in the end of the dynamite and insert the blasting cap. The cap was detonated by a fuse which we would have about 10 feet long. Light it and run. We were doing this to create a dam on a creek and had federal approval. Can't do that anymore. I still remember the sound as it went off. Thanks for bringing back a fond memory.

I've watched professional blasters use just enough explosive to break the rock into manageable pieces for an excavator (Hi Dave!), but your method is much more fun and there's almost nothing left to clear up 😁

Wow! Those detonations were absolutely awesome! You've got more energy than I do in a week. Much respect.

The man is a combo of Letsdig18 and Andrew Camarata. Excellent slow-motion shots. I really enjoy watching your videos.

Не знаю как я попал на этот канал, но я восхищен! То что мы все так любили делать в детсве, чувак теперь делает во взрослой и намного масштабней. Ручь стали больше и взрывы помощьней) что сказать,просто работа мечты!

Unusual, interesting and sometimes remarkable. Your camera work and editing is intelligent. The content is real frontier activity which one doesn't get much chance to see, let alone do anymore. Thanks for this channel; it is now a favourite and I expect the subscriptions will soar. From rural South Australia (limestone and granite country so blasting using nitropril has been frequently used).

This was so much fun to watch. If you zigzag the drainage ditch it will slow down the force of the water so less erodes and you won't have as much to keep clearing out

Excellent video and great videography. Very interesting and informative watching you address the issues you're faced with.

Worth the effort of doing that horizontal drill after turning that rock into gravel ! Great video.
  • The entire video was without a doubt, excellent! But that last big blast? Talk about OVER-THE-TOP!! EPIC!!

Always your content is fun to watch. On the top of that, you just remind me when I lived in Stockholm/Sweden back in 2007-2011 .Beautiful country with pure nature ❤ Greetings from USA

Oh my god! We used to use those drills as conscripts back in 2012 in the pioneer battalion. Never thought i ever see one again

Wow, thanks a lot for risking your camera equipment. Those slow-motion shots of the explosion were spectacular.
  • @EricKremer
That last blast was over done, but it was cool. You made what’s called a counterforce charge. Essentially it’s just explosive waves colliding and multiplying inside a hard target. You could’ve had a slightly better effect on the rock if you did not place a charge in the center. Also if you have detcord or blasting cap at the furthest out point. The wave will travel more effectively through the explosive and into the target.

Man oh man explosives are too much fun, is there no end to your talents? How did you learn so much at such an early age? I’m capable of the things you do with the exception of explosives, it took me 60 years to learn what you know and you’re better at many things than me. You are a very astute young man and I’m so glad I found your channel. Much respect, be well.
