As a k-truck owner, small trucks are so useful, I hope these guys succeed

The best truck concept I've seen so far. Low to the ground, a low front end for pedestrian safety, decent range, all wheel drive, it can tow a decent weight, and it can fit nicely in my small garage. Can't wait until it's available. Love it!
  • I hope these guys survive, it seems like they have some solid concepts here, and that the market will likely embrace the smaller PU concept if the price point can be kept at their estimates.

All desirable things are always two years in the future.

Never heard of this company before, but I'm a big fan of EV's and compact trucks, so love it when they merge together. I hope they have "great success" (Borat voice).
  • @AlphaDewolf
Now THIS is a truck I really Like! Make 'em Smaller everyone!

Love how much you’ve been getting to look behind the scenes in these companies never expected content like this to be regular on this channel 👏
  • @tetchuma
I love the foldable 3rd row option!! The idea of a removable top is very International Scout-ish. Love it!!!

Thank you for the Telos update…should look nice in my garage next to my APTERA
  • @meadmaker4525
Interesting. Canoo is doing something VERY similar and I think they've entered production now, at least for fleet vehicles. Will have to keep an eye on Telo and see if they make it and what the final product looks like.
  • @LamarMK
Thanks for covering this Drew. This is very nice, I like it very much. I think they’ll get it right by starting small, wish them all the best. 👍

Really rooting for the Telo team! They represented themselves well.

I'm certainly not in the market for one but I really hope they find success. Seeing actually good solutions to the USA's vehicular conundrums is nice
  • @deivclayton
Such a cool concept. I'm tired of huge trucks, but having a pickup is still so great for utility.
  • @jakecease
Yeah I really look forward to vehicle like this and canoo and cybertruck that don’t have to adhere to the design constraints of ice vehicle. If I were GM I would be using a similar footprint and bringing back the elcamino.
  • @gravelrhoads
I think they're a little high on the price, but everything else they're saying sounds like they've really thought this through to get to viability unlike other certain startup EV companies have done lately.

Would love to see a standard cab version to have a longer bed and more work utility. I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Finding Tailosive years ago is probably one of the best things I did for my exposure to the EV world. ❤❤❤

I was so excited to see the Canoo pickup and TELO's design is even better but I feel their artificial size constraint of a Mini coupled with a whopping $50,000 price point will not serve them well. At least with a big truck, you (and everyone else) can see where your money is going. An extra 2 in. of knee and legroom would greatly improve comfort, and an extra 6" on the bed to make it the new industry standard of 5.5' would improve perception. Additionally, not having a visible, replaceable 5 mph bumper makes this thing look extremely weird, especially from the side. I think the Ford Maverick hybrid is genius and that size is perfect but Ford isn't making nearly enough of them and dealers aren't selling them for low $20Ks which is the real affordable price point we wanted. Too small and most really don't want it.
