Strange may not have survived that long enough to actually reverse Tony’s death, at least not without removing the other stones. And even then the time stone is easily the most uncooperative and easy to misuse infinity stone, and he doesn’t have the Eye of Ag. to properly channel it because it was destroyed before the snap so it didn’t return with him.

I get that Cap wanted to keep his promise about the dance, and I get that there's a risk of creating branches in the timeline, but those extra Pym Particles could have been used to save Black Widow after she got the Soul Stone.
