Angel: Do not be afraid Human: Sir, this is the most terrifying moment of my life.
  • I was born Christian and had a falling out of religion and regained my faith a couple years ago and to learn more about my faith and see someone who is as excited as you to talk about it is really awesome. These videos are in a weird way strengthening my faith and a good start to learn a bit about it. Thanks man.
  • I’m a non religious person. But I ADORE these depictions. I don’t know what it is about them but they are so beautiful and fascinating. Thank you so much for making this video, wendigoon. I love learning more about these depictions and this really helped me!
  • “Be not afraid” was definitely made protocol in heaven when visiting humans to stop people from literally having heart attacks 😂

Other Angels: "Be not afraid." Michael: "BE AFRAID"

Tolkien portrayed the “common angel” in “The Lord of the Rings” perfectly in Gandalf. He is “a servant of the secret fire” which is middle earths version of the power of creation which resides in the one god. Gandalf is a “common angle”. And in LOTR Gandalf never interferes with the fellowship, he only guides. The only time he directly interferes is when they face something not of the mortal realm. The balrog, the ring wraiths, etc. Even at the battle of minus tirith, he still led the men of Gondor and guided them to their best outcome. “You are soldiers of Gondor! No matter what comes through that gate you will stand your ground!”

I know this was made a while ago and you most likely will not see this, but I would love to see more biblical content. I love how you illustrate these ideas as well because you don’t do it in a way that tries to force people to believe it. I also like the “darker themed” videos you do but the biblical ones give a nice break from dark topics.

The "Be Not Afraid" thing coming from the most horrifying looking angel is quite interesting. Since you literally could not be any safer when in its presence.

As a Christian myself, I love this discussion!! 🙌

As a cradle catholic who’s been struggling with their faith this has been such a breath of fresh air from all the other things I see on the internet. Like you talked about all of this with such genuine interest and excitement that it had a oddly strengthening impact to me and I am so grateful ❤

I just love the "Be not afraid" line. That's quite a way to make an entrance. Specially when you are a set of rings with wings and eyes all over
  • @TXCryptic
I don’t know how to explain it but, throughout this video, I got such a feeling of joy and it was such a weird experience that I haven’t felt like this before in my faith. All in all, amazing video!

I'm a Christian and we don't talk about angels enough. This stuff is so cool.
  • Satan: “hey mike” Michael: “the only reason youre alive is because I ALLOW IT”

your research conveys the idea really well. Even as a non Christian this was fascinating and it painted the Christian views in a way that shows the beauty of it.
  • Wendi does not have to be so apologetic and timid when talking about Christianity. I was a very cynical atheist for about 5 years, until I slowly opened my heart to the Christ (its funny cause i had not heard of the majority of the most convincing logical arguments for the existence of God, or of the historical evidence of Jesus' miracles and ressurection until AFTER I renewed my faith). But anyway, I think it is beautifull to speak about the faith as long as we are not getting too pushy and to always remember to do it out of love. I think being a Christian has become a bit frowned upon by many people today (which is actually accurate with Biblical prophecies), but as long as we remain polite, steadfast, honest, loving, and strong as believers, the good news will spread to more people. I met a Muslim Albanian in the UK during my studies there, and two years after meeting me he converted to Orthodox Christianity and will soon get baptized. I did not even try to convince him to convert, I did not even suggest it, but by seeing how Christ was affecting my life, and doing his own research, he opened his heart to Him.
