In this video we look at a State Farm insurance adjuster estimate, written before roofing contractor involvement for $13,090.62.

Our client was hired as the general and roofing contractor. We submitted an Xactimate estimate to State Farm for $22,378.66, which we review in the video.

We received a revised insurance Xactimate estimate from State Farm when it was all over for $15,864.44, which we also review in the video.

  • On the rear elevation you show R&R Gutter/downspout, but why didn't you add to prime and paint them? I realize that sometimes you can get pre-colored gutters, but in that case you would use the other gutter line item that shows it is already colored. Which is a dollar or so more than just the SFG GUTA item. Right? Or am I missing something?

    what about getting money for manufacturers warranty on new roof. owens corning requires roof system for warranty. Can i request synthetic underlayment, and water and ice shield at eves and valley? valley is required by code

    Hello! My husband and I are new at xactimate and we are a new water restoration company. I already am certified in xactimate level 1. However, there is one thing I still I am still confused about, I don't know how to submit the bill to the insurance.. am I suppose to call them or is it submitted through the xactimate software. please respond! this would help a ton

    State Farm is the worst, I tell all my customers, Drop the Farm and save a bundle
