  • @Dollygeee
Thank you for your informative video. During winter months, can I continue to grow dahlias indoors until spring?
  • Great video I appreciate the close up shots you can tell you know what you're doing and you've done it several times. will The cutting produce flowers the first year?
  • @loismegin8036
Thank you so much for all your wonderful videos. You do a great job. I always wondered how to do propagate Dahlia’s!I may have missed it, but what size pot do you pot up to?
  • @MrsGloverk
Thank you for showing us how to maximize our investment! Just think, all of those cuttings will produce multiple tubers and cuttings 👨‍🌾
  • Fantastic!! Do the cuttings develop their own tubers? ...Thanks for sharing ;)
  • @GardenHands
Great video! I am in the midst of propagating as well. Hoping I can take my first cuttings in another week. Will you use your mother tuber in the ground this year? If not, how many cuttings will you take from it before discarding it?
  • @brandy8668
Thank you so much. I am currently trying this. What temperature do you set your heat mat to? How large do the new cuttings get in the 10-12 weeks before planting outside? I’m trying to determine how many I can start with my current grow lights. Thank you!
  • @chrisrond1022
Can you take cuttings from an existing dahlia plant that i have in the garden ?
  • Cutting and propagating later in the summer; how long to do I have to grow for healthy new tuber development? Zone 8b
  • @fionyen3803
Do you moisten the soil when you place the tubers in the pots to wake up, or you keep the soil dry to prevent rot before the tubers grow roots? Do you place dome over the cutting tray? When I use heat mat, the soil dries up so fast, so I am wondering. Thanks! Just found you on YouTube, really enjoy your channel!
  • Do these cuttings produce tubers. Thank you great video.
  • @katjo0812
Good to know we can do that. I am never sure which plants are able to be propagated. I just learned snap dragons can be also!! I have 18 dahlias coming in May. QUESTIONS... Once you cut from the tubers, how long does it take for the tuber to grow to that height again? Also how many inches away from the tuber do you place your lights? Thanks for sharing!
