The masks, birdo, the dark world, those weird bugs etc. This game used to kinda scare me when I was a kid lol

Mario 2 is the most unique entry in the series. A true original.

2 is always the love hate one. When I was a kid I never got close to ever beating it but I loved the game so much i remember playing it like it was yesterday.

This game was so weird. I remember playing part 1 then part 3 which seemed to be a natural progression, but then i played this, man, it was super weird....

I loved this one and Mario bros 3...they are my favorites ...not to mention Sega sonic the hedgehog from the 90s

The potions in this game are probably part of the reason why the Super Mario Bros. Super Show involved magic, and there's also a Birdo in the first episode, as well as pigeons in the episode Mario's Magic Carpet, which could be the same birds in this game. Even the music from the main theme of this game is played very often in the show. This game itself is actually very interesting also, because it was not made into the typical formula of a Mario game.

I use to come home every day after school and conquer this game using all the warps. I did play it through the first few times and it was fun. I love part 2.
