Great job on the Dalton. I am of the clan my great grandfather was 1s Cousin to the boys . I yousto live in Sonora for 38 years and have a lot of great memories there. Though I might mention that the Daltons as it has been said had a hide out in Sheep Ranch. I had tried to find it on several occasions but it is Supposed to Be on a big privateIs ranch I was told this by several people in Murphy's in the mid 90s.love you Chanel keep up the good work

There's a story that Chub also played a small role in Dalton gang lore. When Bob and Emmett Dalton were hiding out at Bill's ranch in California after one of their escapades, a lawman came out looking for them. They asked little Chub where Bob and Emmett were and without missing a beat, he said his uncles went to Seattle. No one knew how he came up with the story, but it worked. The lawman left.

The song I remember was The Smell From Manteca. Worked at Delicato Vineyard for about a year. We put in new stainless steel tanks and lines. After they drained the tanks they would take the mashed grapes and dump them in open trenches. In the heat it didn't take long for them to start rotting. Man what a stink.

"Rode in on a Greyhound, I'll be walkin' out if I go. Good old tune.

Hello Jeff, thank you for sharing this story on the Dalton family. Please keep up your great videos. All the best of good things to you. 🤗

Jeff, you want creepy? Go to the mausoleum at Grandview in Glendale, CA. My brother and I found a stairway to downstairs! It was really freaky! Check the history of that cemetery!
-
Jeff, interesting to see where the Dalton grave is in Turlock. Another well done historical video.
-
Thanks for a look at Lodi where I grew up. I'm familiar with the Lodi Cemetery given that my Uncle and Aunt are buried there. I'll have to lookup the Dalton grave site when I'm there again.
-
Wow, right there in Modesto! Thanks for the Dalton information Jeff.
-
I always find these very fascinating and how people who made National News can be buried not far from where you live. My parents lived briefly in Turlock before I was born 👍👍

A connection to Visalia and Tulare County very interesting local history . Like to see more local history, a video about the Visalia Saddle. Invented and made in Visalia CA quite a saddle I understand it defined the western saddle.
