Rick Steves, and Back Door Productions are the best. They paid their employees during the pandemic. It cost him millions. He said, it's the right thing to do.

I am an Egyptian who left Egypt 15 years ago. This is the most honest video out there about Egypt. Thank you Rick for your honesty 🙏

In my 8-10 trips to Egypt, I found the people invariably wonderful. We made friends swiftly and they always insisted that I remember that Egypt is my second home. I always felt that way. I have only been to Cairo and Alexandria (including many of the sites shown in this video), but hope to visit Upper Egypt at some point in the future and take a Nile cruise. I was also amazed at how affordable Egypt is. Even the tourist places aren't as expensive as elsewhere. I miss it tremendously.
