The drivers have cages, seat belts and HAN devices. The pit crews have, well, just damn good muscles, athleticism and luck. They are amazing men.

That last guy was hilarious- gotta have a sense of humor!! Also, thanks for NOT including Mike Rich's accident. I was there with my dad live for that, sitting right across from Bill Elliot's pit box when it happened and it was awful.

That last guy really made the best of the moment (freaking legend!), hope he is okay. I'll be honest, I am kinda scared when I look at pitstops in NASCAR compared to every other motorsport. But I guess that is one of its charms as well. The pit crews in NASCAR deserve more credits than they get now imo. (Great vid btw ;)

I've had some close calls myself when I was a jackman. My buddy John was hit hard by a rookie when pitting at Pocono during an ARCA Series race.

4:10 Getting a tyre knocked out of your hands by another car coming in? I wonder if that resulted in an uncontrolled tyre penalty for the team.
