God, this song is like growing up in a cold world, and comming to grips with the fact that this is all there is.

This is a great blues song...Plain & simple.

Beautiful song. Such a great voice and lyrics. I can feel the desperation and loneliness she sings about. How close they once were and how big the gap between them is now. She tries to reach out to him, but he just turns away and it makes them strangers now, but she remembers other times. Why this song touches me so deeply I don't know. Must be what she is singing about, the fact that losing someone you love so much breaks your heart and leaves you feeling cold and empty. I think many of us blues lovers, who meet here at your channel to share all this beautiful music, can relate to that empty feeling and stop by to get some comfort and warmth from the music you share so generously with all of us.
