Hi Adam, after long period of hesitations I have cancelled my reservation (Jan. 26, 2022) for Ultra. The main reason - I do not like the "light asset company model" used by Fisker Inc. I have a feeling - they moved all their current and future problems to the customers, including service, repair, etc. They never said "Canada", just Europe and USA... Never said who will be the Service provider for Canada, where will be the Service centers, which Bank will be supporting the process, when the car will be delivered, etc. The Fisker online-support is just a disaster... No way to have a test drive, even to see the car, no lease option, no professional reviews are available. In short words, I could not rely on this company as a partner for years. And yes, the car looks very nice, but that is it!

Early last week, I emailed Fisker to find out how to upgrade to an extreme. No reply. This past Friday, I paid the additional order fee. Then a couple days later I got a response back from Fisker on how to upgrade. On 7/4 requested an upgrade to extreme with blue/white, 20”, cargo cover & mats. (No reply yet) 22 inch wheels are too costly to replace. I’m done with that after having fancy tires on my BMWs. Another great video! Thanks 😊

Always a good day when I see your channel pop up in my notifications! Bummer about the Solar Orange, I struggled between that and (sea grass?) green. Glad I settled on the green on my own terms before the orange was removed.

I haven't canceled yet but I will not give Fisker the extra $750 without being able to see the vehicle, get into the vehicle or any idea of when I might be able to receive it. I have the $250 deposit on a Fisker Ocean Ultra. I hope you get yours soon and you can give it an honest review. Love the video, thanks for the information.

Hey Adam. Another great video. So, I’m working with Fisker support to switch from the Ultra to the Extreme. I got the upgrade email, but they said they have to “request” the upgrade. Then don’t send an email say, save now and upgrade to Extreme if I can’t do it myself. On top of that I was only given two days. Now it’s the holiday weekend and I have to wait. I better get the discounts!🥺😒 Wishing you and your family a Happy 4th of July!🎆🎇

Just ordered mine. Extreme, Blue Planet, Sea Salt, F6 wheels. Estimated delivery $407 to San Diego. Doesn't seem too much, but I'll probably still pick it up at a distribution event for free, I'm guessing it'll be in Los Angeles. As a data point, I had reserved mine back in February 2023. I few days ago I asked customer service if they knew approx when I could expect delivery. They said 4th quarter 2023, which surprised me. I was expecting mid-2024. Do you think 4th quarter of this year seems realistic for when I reserved it? Final thoughts: I think I'll be really happy with the configuration I chose, particularly the colors. My only wish was that Fisker would have carried a purple color, like BMW's purple silk metallic. That would be a delicious color on a well-designed car.

Hi Adam. Thank you for your work on this article to keep us up-to-date. I bought in October 2021 an VW ID4. August 16, 2022, I reserved Fisker Ultra. With the new IRS EV tax credit, that can only be claimed once every three years, will be an impact to amend my 2022 taxes? Thanks

First, thanks for all your Fisker videos. You are my go-to for Fisker news. Question: do you know how doors will be unlocked? I’m currently driving a Chrysler 300C and the doors unlock as soon as I touch the door handle as long as my key fob is close by. I love that I don’t have to dig in my purse for keys and push an unlock button - yup, arthritis is kicking in. Ugh... Please tell me the Ocean will have some thing similar. I have an Ultra on order.

I was able to get a Mercedes EQE 350 4matic for a great price and the tax credit (it's a lease), and was also able to get a good bit of equity when I sold my m340i back to BMW, so I went ahead and canceled my Extreme reservation. My lease is up in 2 years, so we'll see what the EV landscape looks like then.

Thank you Sir! I'm in Palm Springs and there is going to be a Viewing Center or Lounge to go check out the Ocean and hopefully do a test drive. I really don't want to put down my 750.00 if I get in it and take for a spin and realize, No this is not going to work. I love the looks and have been following along. What are your thoughts Adam? It is sketchy for Fisker to now state that boost mode can only be used 500 times to get the maximum HP. Thank you for explaining this. Basically, they are over rating the motors. They didn't quite lie, but that is why they stopped publishing the 540 HP number on their website. Makes me suspicious until we hear from more owners. I am still wondering why they have not released a bunch of cars to the media to do reviews. Something isn't white right with these guys. I got 2 orders and thinking about sending in the $750 requested for the 2nd payment.

Trying to decide if I should get a home wall charger or wait until there’s an update for bidirectional charging. Doesn’t make sense to spend so much on the product and installation only to have redo it if bidirectional charging’s coming. Thoughts?

So after watching this video, I am now regretting "upgrading" my tires to the 22in wheels. I clearly no nothing about cars lol. I'm going to see if I can get my build changed to the 20in wheels, even though I locked in my Ultra.

I ordered a ultra and I’m having second thoughts about taking my delivery. I received the email last week Wednesday for the additional $750. But have not paid it as of yet. Thinking about canceling.

The Solar Orange and Marine Layer paints, both multi-coats, have been removed from the options. Fisker is claiming they will be available again in 2024. I think this info comes from Extreme reservation holders who had those paints, they received an email. Maybe someone that had one of those paints can elaborate.

For the question, can you claim more than one electric vehicle tax credit? The answer that you mentioned was USED VEHICLE CREDIT, also followed with a definition of used vehicle. Is there a limit for new vehicles sold/binding contract prior to August 18, 2022?
