This video, "Dear Weak Believers" is dedicated to my dear friend who recently became a born again Christian and to all believers who need encouragement in their struggle with the weakness and fragility of their faith. Charles Spurgeon, the Prince of Preachers, preached this sermon entitled "Encouragement for the Depressed" on August 27th, 1871.

This sermon is recited by David Ryu.

  • We just finished our prayer meeting and I was the one to share the God's Message. It always breaks my heart to see my brothers and sisters in faith to be tossed to and fro like a wave by different teachings about God. I wish I could all hold them in my arms and protect them from all the heresies in this world. Thank God, He is the One who holds them all in his hand and surely, no one will be lost. Thank you for this video.
  • How true. Very enlightening. Please be patient with me God is not through with me yet. Praise the Lord.

This is so true! My mom taught me that love is not just an emotion. Because when you marry you are committing yourself to that person. When the beauty fades. When they are no longer a joy to be around. When that magic feeling fades. You committed yourself to them and you must choose love even when the feelings aren’t there. I think I’m finally understanding. We are the brides of Christ. We should not take this oath thoughtlessly. He will hold us to our words. He doesn’t want part of our lives He demands all of us. To live is Christ and to die is gain finally makes sense. If we make the oath then we shouldn’t care about the external circumstances. You die to yourself when you make that oath and you take on the title of a bride. That is a close and intimate relationship that you stick through even when the winds and storms come. That is a sacred oath a vow that can not be broken. Marriage was given to us so we could better understand Christ. He always had a plan.

Unfortunately there are so many older Christians who are still spiritually and emotionally immature not repenting, growing and enjoying growing in faith, fear of God, humility and perseverance with Christ and fruits of the Holy Spirit.
